hi swahnen..thanks for the message.. I have no idea where Halloween came from...but, in the Philippines, where I grew up, we celebrated the day of the dead which is Nov. 1st. That is the day where we go to our loved ones cemetary who passed away and pray for them. Not sure if it's the catholic religion or if it's because of the asian tradition...not quite sure...but, yup..we celebrate the souls day. it's a big event too...lots of food and family around.
